They say the hardest part about using the gym is actually going.

For many of us the idea of going to the gym everyday can be daunting…but the idea of staying fit is something that we all want to do.

Sometimes going to the gym can be problematic for us: long busy days, not near a gym, slight injury, knowing when to eat as not good to exercise on a full or empty stomach etc etc. One of my goals is to improve my heart rate so a few weeks ago I asked myself;

“How can I …

So it’s a new year and a new start for some people. Whether you have your own business, are looking for a job or leaving your current job for pastures new there is one lesson that will probably be on the top of people’s goals in 2011, directly or indirectly, and that’s cashflow.

I remember this time last year I was in one of the worst situations of my life to date. I was broke, my hands/Repetitive Stress Injury were still hurting (even though there were signs of improvement), I had …

“You can really only have two things in life, reasons or results. Reasons don’t count”. (Anonymous)

Sometimes it can be the little things you hear while in passing that can be the thing that gives you that push you need to go for whatever it is you are after. I am a huge fan of quotes and just by hearing or reading a short sentence can be enough for me to get off my ass and do something about a situation.

The reason why I like the quote above & …

The Wiseman – Canibus

One of the most intelligent hip Hop songs I have heard is “Poet Laureate 2″ by Canibus.  If you have not heard it then click here. Also open up 2 browsers:
1) song lyrics
2) Google search to look for the terms, the theories and anything else you might not know.

It’s ridiculous and to this day baffles me how he knew this much. Anyway there is one part of the song that states:

“a wise man sees failure as progress/a fool divorces his knowledge and misses …

If you haven’t read part 1 of this story then please feel free to view it here.

January 2009

“Can you sign this disclaimer form?” asked the Doctor, an hour before I was supposed to have surgery. By now my fingers felt numb, I had departed ways with MySpace and wasn’t sure where 2009 would take me.

Before I went in, I remember thinking: A year ago my friend told me about RSI and now I’m in hospital about to have an operation. How things can change so much in a …

Now, usually my posts are about helping, inspiring and telling stories or theories. I dont often let people know much about me besides the work side of me, but I am going to write a couple of posts about the nightmare I have been living with throughout 2008 and 2009. I am a pretty closed person but with this post and 1 more, you will read a true, personal story about me and the long battle I have had with Repetitive Strain Injury aka RSI.

The last half of the naughties saw a lot of growing trends; availability of Broadband on a large scale, online video growth went through the roof, connecting to friends/acquantances became easier and the gap between an unreachable celeb to the common folk decreased due to the likes of MySpace & Facebook.  However with the good, always comes the bad – and they can trend too! One in particular has been the rise of the Internet Gangster.

Urban Dictionary describes these “hoodlums” as: “One who uses the internet as a …

Jay-Z once said, “A wise man told me don’t argue with fools/because people from a distance can’t tell who is who”.

When he said this in 2001, there was no Twitter,  Facebook or even MySpace. So if you saw two people arguing, it would usually be in the flesh. A few years later, arguing online seems common place and depending on the size of your network, a lot of people can watch the argument unfold. People don’t always …

I have heard many wonderful things about the world of Yoga, so last night I thought I would see what all the hype was about. I was told Bikram Yoga (Yoga in a very heated room), was the best type so I went with my friend Saj to South London to participate in a relaxing night of “exercise”. It can’t be that hard, right? I mean how difficult can stretching and breathing be?

Since I was …

I have worked in music and online for over 10 years now and I used to think that it was just this industry where it was not based on talent alone to break in. However over the years I realised it’s every industry. It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

One of the reasons social networks have become so powerful is because people are becoming famous overnight. Unless you were already a celeb, the 1 thing in common people who became famous all had were powerful communities ie, …
